The biggest obstacle to faith is the reality of suffering in our world. Mankind has wrestled with it for thousands of years. We see it every day in the news. But the reason this issue is so challenging is that it affects us all on a deeply personal level. We've all experienced suffering.
Why does God allow suffering? Does the reality of suffering disprove God's existence? Why do bad things happen to good people?
